Aging is part of the process. As we age, our skin becomes prone to imperfections- lack of moisture and collagen. As a result, you will notice prominent fine lines, wrinkles, dark circles, enlarged pores and hyperpigmentation. We therefore give in to the temptation of piling up the makeup to cover it all and that’s a fundamental mistake. It will only make you look older and bring attention to all your imperfections.
As I am nearing my 30s, my makeup routine has changed. It is now curated to fit my needs-for a fresher and rejuvenated look. Here is how:
Psst.. 👀
1. Choose a Hydrating & Pore Filling Primer
They will fill in those fine lines and wrinkles for a smooth looking skin. Your primer needs to be lightweight and moisturising.
I highly recommend silicone-free formulas such as the ILIA True Radiant Priming Serum great for all skin types or the Wet n Wild Focus Impossible Primer which mattifies and hydrates the skin at the same time.

2. Ditch the Estée Lauder Double Wear/Heavy Foundations, Try These Instead
Using a thick and heavy foundation to cover up your imperfections will only make matters worse. Not only will your face look plastered, but it will sink into your fine lines/wrinkles, cling on to your dry patches and draw more attention.
